I am pretty sure that I was always destined to be a photographer, my decision to pursue photography as a career was encouraged when, at the age of sixteen my family moved into a house, only to discover that it was once owned by founders of the world renowned photographers agency, Magnum.

My career path brought me via the film and theatre industries where I learnt invaluable lighting skills that are reflected in the quality of light that flows through my work today.

This path took me to Brighton where I studied for a degree in Photography. Whilst there I was selected by British Airways to travel to Europe and create images for their travel brochures.
Towards the end of my course I began assisting and, before graduating had secured positions working with a selection of London's top photographers. For a little over four years I travelled the world from Cuba to the Arctic Circle working on several globally award winning campaigns, culminating in being a finalist for the AOP assistant of the year awards in 2006.

Now a photographer in my own right I thrive when working on location, be it working on portraiture, lifestyle, fashion or travel pieces I enjoy the challenge and adapt well to all working environments, from the shifting sands of dunes and beaches to the minus 40 degree temperatures of Lapland where the sun only shines for 3 hours a day.

My passion for photography and love of the outdoors reflects in my ongoing personal work, work that is shown in several exhibitions every year, the most recent being "A Journey through trees" shown during the Brighton Photo Biennial in October 2008.
